What's really awesome about life is its unpredictability - its twists, turns, highs and lows. What really sucks about life is its unpredictability - its twists, turns, highs and lows.

Often I find myself sharing the tough stuff on this blog because typing it out helps me to process.

However, right now I am feeling really good about many things. There is much to celebrate! People I love just experienced the joy of having their first child and, quite honestly, it could not have gone better.

Zoe Ellen Scott was born this past Sunday, July 24th at 12:33pm and was a healthy 7lbs 7.5oz at birth.

Molly and Zack are doing remarkably well. This whole parenting thing suits them both perfectly. They are naturals!

It has been very challenging to be so far away from my other nieces and nephew, so I am looking forward to being a hands-on, local aunt!
