It started to snow this morning and fell lightly throughout the day. We only ended up with about 2 or 3 inches. That's enough for frolicking, right?
He's such a silly and energetic little fella, I imagined that we were going to be covered in snow while running around, throwing snowballs and furiously sweeping our arms and legs back and forth making our very first mother and son snow angels.
Um....
Not so much.
He froze when I put him down on the snow. I am not sure if he was just taking it all in or if the snowsuit and boots were not feeling quite right on his body or if he was literally freezing, but he just stood there and barely moved...the entire time. He did fall over at one point and then was frozen like a statue on his butt.

The only time he seemed to express anything was when his mitten came off. I am not sure how that happened since he wasn't really moving. Oh well. We'll see how it goes next time.
P.S. Thank you, Jill, for the hand-me-down snowsuit. Even though it's pretty big on him, it's so warm and so cute!

he's a cute statue anyway!
